One of my buddies picked up a Longstrike....I was disappointed.  Undecided

I shought it at him in our Chemistry class and it kinda just shot out of the gun before hitting the wall about 5 inches above the ground. This was only from about 15 feet away...I'll get it, but it just isn't anywhere near the quality of the Longshot. Just thought I'd let y'all know.

I dinno, I suspect that it was the gun.

@Jack, I think there is some potential for modification, but it's a reverse plunger gun, so not much, and I'd rather have a Raider in a fight than a Longstrike.

Air restrictor or not, the loading mechanism is at fault if the dart is stuck in there.

I don't think it was the loading system. I just think it's a weak gun...when I get my own I'll post a full review.

No it's not Jack, I've actually used it alot in the National US Nerf tournament. I picked one up in Vegas, then I checked in with the Vegas squad and had a skirmish with another team in the tourney, I got good distance, and alot of "kills" before I had to reload. I got a headshot each dart, which is an immediate kill. Now I'm back in my hometown, San Diego using it, I love it. Smiley

Streamline or not, any foam or soft dart is going to get stuck at some point.

(Hi guys, I'm new here, by the way.)

I was looking forward to the Longstrike. Considering the hype about it, I was expecting it to be twice as good as the longshot. Well, you can't always be pleased.
I think I'll stick with the Vulcan.

At my most recent Nerf War, two dudes (one with a LongShot, one with a LongStrike) kneeled and shot at me. Both guns were stock, and they were honest to God at the same angle.

They were 15-20 feet away.

The darts started out in perfect unison, but before too long, the LongStrike one fell and landed in the street about 6 feet before the LongShot one did. The Longshot dart landed at my feet.
